Jason L. Fowell
Jason L. Fowell has been licensed to practice law in the State of
Mr. Fowell counsels and advises developers and builders in all aspects of real estate transactions, including the negotiation and drafting of purchase and sale contracts for the acquisition, development and disposition of real estate (including raw land, multi-family developments and mid and high-rise luxury condominiums), due diligence reviews, title issues, negotiation of construction loans, conduit/permanent financing loans, refinancing of loans and supporting loan documents for the development of real estate. Mr. Fowell also advises clients in the creation of single-asset and multi-asset corporate entities.
Mr. Fowell also represents clients involved in litigation. His civil litigation focuses on commercial disputes, partnership disagreements, construction defects, land/title issues, contractor/subcontractor litigation, filing, foreclosing and disposing of mechanics and materialman's liens, landlord/tenant disputes and homeowner rights.
He is also and Adjunct Professor at South Texas College of Law, where he instructs second and third year law students in trial litigation, including trial strategy and litigation tactics. In addition, Mr. Fowell is an instructor at
